The company provides delicious, high-quality veal products tailored to customer requirements in Europe and beyond. Whether we’re talking about technical parts, both portioned or whole, skinned or unskinned or ready-made consumer products, fresh or frozen – Ekro makes it according to customer specifications.

Ekro works with the wholesale and retail trade, the food service industry and meal manufacturers. This cooperation is important to the company, as Ekro's mission is to create maximum customer value, balanced with human, animal and climate impact. This is done in order to be and remain the trusted and valued veal producer for its customers.

Quality is paramount in everything Ekro does. Animal welfare, food safety and sustainability are guaranteed at every stage of production. The efforts made for this are visible in the certification for IFS, BRC and ISO14001, for example.

Ekro is part of the Dutch family-owned company, the VanDrie Group. The VanDrie Group is globally-oriented, but works locally – with companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and Germany. The VanDrie Group is characterised by chain integration: the company has control over all the links of the production. Its various subsidiaries produce veal and beef, animal feed, raw dairy materials and calf skins. The VanDrie Group also trades in dairy products for industrial use and assists dairy farmers in rearing their calves.
